The team at this family-run campsite near Le Puy-en-Velay offers a warm welcome at reception, open from 7.30am to 12pm and from 2.30pm to 7pm. As soon as you arrive, you’ll be given a map of the campsite, along with tourist brochures and tips for enjoying the region. Need information on tours, hikes or local markets? The tourist information point at reception is there to guide you. A luggage storage service is also available for hikers on the Stevenson Trail. The staff will welcome you in French and English.

The l’Estela campsite has direct access to the Gazeille river: it’s just a few steps to the water’s edge. Access is free all day long. The stony, grassy banks offer a natural setting for rest and contemplation. You can also fish here, or simply relax by the water with a good book. Dogs are welcome. A true corner of nature, calm and rejuvenating, just a stone’s throw from your pitch or chalet.
Camping with live entertainment in Haute-Loire
At Camping l’Estela, evenings rhyme with conviviality. Three times a week in July and August, the team offers entertainment for all:
- Apéros jeux on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 6 p.m., with happy hour until 7 p.m.: quizzes, blind tests, fun guaranteed;
- Theme meals every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m., also open to outside customers – remember to book!
- Sports events broadcast in the bar during major competitions.
Evenings end before 11pm, so that everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet of the night out in nature.
